Propo Legislative Success

Propo is a new organization but has been very successful in lobbying the Anne Arundel County Council on Legislation that would have had a negative effect on property owners.

Bill 63-08 (was withdrawn) we lobbied against this legislation because it removed due process of law and excessive fines.

Bill 66-08 (also withdrawn) This legislation would have increase building setbacks from 10 to 50 feet for any property adjacent any county parkland. Would have been a taking without compensation.

Bill 71-08 (amended) Impact fees. We lobbied to amend the legislation to remove fees on additions to existing homes nd have fees reduced.
